MEDIA ADVISORY NEW—THE WALTERS CHANGES HOURS BEGINNING OCT. 1 WHAT: Museum Hour Changes Museum hours will be 11 a.m.–5 p.m. Wednesday–Sunday and 11 a.m.–8 p.m. on Friday, starting Oct. 1. On the same date, the Walters will eliminate admission charges and open free to the public for the first time in more than two decades. Museum hour changes and free admission will begin in conjunction with the launch of Free Fall Baltimore, an innovative citywide program–taking place in Oct. and Nov.–designed to make the arts available to everyone.
